English Abstract
Howdy + G'day!

This is about some crazy German bikies ...
First of all, the "Motosophie e.V." Biker Cafe
is not a business, but a registered union under the German law.
We are a small bunch of old(school) bikers in our 40-and 50-somethings, having made the license in the 70s or early 80s.
During our bikers' lifetimes, we rode many different bikes - such as Yamaha RD 250, Honda CB 400four, Honda CX 500, Honda CBX 1000, Suzuki GSX1100 + GSXR 750,  Suzuki DR 600 Dakar, MZ 250 (2-stroke engine), Yamaha SR 500, and many more,
and thus we had and have contacts to different biker sub-scenes, such as 1% MC's, Biker Union, small town clubs, 'free bikers', forum-bikers, BMW's, Harley Owners, a.s.o.

applies to Germany as well
On our weekend tours to the seaside, we were tired of spending tour stops at gas stations (where smoking is forbidden...), having coffee from a slot machine ;-(
So, in 2006 we had the idea of opening a meeting place for bikers and friends, half ways between our hometown of Bremen, Germany, and the North Sea
Having checked the area for a suitable weekend hangout  -  like a hut in the forest or some camper  -
we finally found a location in Elsfleth.
We had loads of work then for 15 months, rebuilding a 40' sea container ... (see photos on the left)
As all our friends, visiting the opening in June 2008, said, "next time I bring 2 mates"..., we are now
open to any biker, regardless of  bike brand or model, clothes / style, club / group.
Do as thou wilt and ride free!

In 2010, we moved to a new location a few miles up north.
And this is what we're offering to our guests:
* open from April to October (summer)
   on Sat/Sun/public holidays from 11am till sunset
* drinks, such as coffee (strong!), Coke, beer ...
* homemade cake
(having coffee & cake in the afternoon
                                         is a typical German habit)
* breakfast *barbecue *sandwiches *snacks ...
* contact, networking
* typical bikertalk of
                  heroically survived adventures ;-)
* biker's favorite rock + blues music
* guided tours
* parties and bonfires
* bikergames, kubb (viking chess), backgammon
* literature (books and magazines on motorbiking)
* convenience: camping, WC, repair tools
As we are not commercial, visiting us is affordable to any biker.
